Job summary

The CDC Foundation is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the OD2A Capacity Building Initiative in Georgia. Hybrid role with responsibilities for staffing, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to advance overdose prevention efforts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (public health preferred) or a BA with 7+ years in public health.
• At least 5 years of leadership in public health or related nonprofit work.
• Minimum 4 years supervising others and leading multi-level teams.
• Experience managing federal and non-federal budgets.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Compliance, Payroll.
• Experience evaluating programs and reporting to donors.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to seven direct reports and up to 15 field staff nationwide.
• Oversee complex jurisdictional partnerships.
• Troubleshoot issues and support project managers and leadership.
• Ensure staffing targets and timely staffing solutions.
• Prepare and monitor program contracts, budgets, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal partners to implement PM systems and processes.
• Represent the CDC Foundation at meetings with stakeholders.
• Develop program goals, policies, and strategic plans.
