Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. GPS unit seeks a Program Manager to collaborate with the CDC in Atlanta, GA, overseeing day-to-day project management and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables for the client.

The role reports to GPS leadership and requires strong planning, budgeting, and reporting capabilities. This hybrid position involves occasional on-site work at the Atlanta CDC office, with candidates living within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct supervisory or management experience, including employee performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and personnel decisions.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary CDC interface and maintains strong relationships with client representatives, subject matter experts, partners, and stakeholders.
• Leads program planning, budgeting, performance monitoring, reporting, and evaluation activities.
• Provides guidance to clients on program requirements, priorities, and project execution.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting project schedules, deliverables, resources, and performance.
• Manages multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven and emergency response environments.
• Manages employee performance and personnel matters, including hiring support, coaching, corrective actions, disciplinary actions, and termination, in coordination with management and Human Resources.
• Supports resource mobilization, contracts, agreements, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepares and submits programmatic, narrative, and financial reports and updates.
• Supports public health/public safety initiatives through stakeholder engagement, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
• Serves as a program point of contact and provides coverage for team members as needed.
