Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited 4 year college or university with major coursework related to emergency management or public health or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule and performs other duties as assigned.
• Preparedness and Response Liaison – work with counties to develop and implement local disaster response plans and preparedness activities.
• Training – develop and present trainings related to public health and disaster preparedness.
• Asset/Equipment Exercise and Maintenance – track program assets, testing schedules, and arrange repairs as needed.
• Marginal Functions – provide guidance to local health departments and participate in COOP activation as required.
