Job summary

The University of New Orleans is seeking a training designer to build staff capacity for the Bureau of Health Informatics. You will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that support quality improvement and public health outcomes.

Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will create engaging content, deploy online and in-person sessions, and leverage data to drive performance improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 3+ years of professional training experience.
  • Minimum 5 years designing and delivering training programs.
  • Minimum 2 years developing online courses.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to assess training needs and align QI efforts with public health goals.
  • Facilitates workshops, webinars, and learning collaboratives supporting performance improvement and health outcomes.
  • Develops and revises EHR-related training plans, assessments, and resources.
  • Delivers trainings and develops content for varying skill levels.
  • Reviews evaluations and reports to measure training impact.
