Job summary

Southern Nevada Health District is seeking a Public Health Informatics professional to apply informatics principles and methods to design, deploy, and manage information systems for public health, clinical care, disease surveillance, and epidemiological reporting.

You will translate system requirements into prototypes, develop interoperable solutions, ensure data security and privacy, and provide timely analytics to support data-driven decisions across public health programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of biomedical informatics, epidemiology or public health research.
• Knowledge of public health informatics standards and data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and deploys informatics tools and systems for public health and clinical care.
• Translates requirements into applications prototypes and designs system architectures.
