Galveston County Health District is seeking a Data Manager to lead data management, reporting, and analytics that support public health programs and informed decision-making. This on-site role will coordinate data activities, develop and maintain databases, and transform complex data into actionable insights for leadership and community health initiatives.

You will create interactive dashboards with Tableau or Power BI, administer Salesforce including data flows, and produce reports for

• Public health degree or related analytics degree required.
• Experience in government or public health settings preferred.
• Strong data coding, quantitative analysis, and data mining skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee data department and coordinate data management and analytics projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain databases and data collection systems.
• Analyze data for initiatives including health plans and assessments.
• Create interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Administer Salesforce, including permissions, profiles, data integrity, and CRM data flows.
• Prepare executive reports and present findings to leadership.
• Collaborate to identify health priorities and potential threats.
• Maintain system documentation and data cleaning processes.
• Support emergency preparedness and community partnerships.
• Represent the division at meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
