Job summary

Bexar County in Texas is seeking a Population Health Data Manager to support the Department of Preventative Health and Environmental Services. This role focuses on analyzing population health data, creating dashboards, and forecasting to guide public health strategies.

You will lead complex analyses, stratify risk, and present findings to stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in demography, epidemiology, data science, or public health and seven years of data analysis experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in demography, epidemiology, data science or public health.
• Seven years of data analysis experience or equivalent.
• Strong data visualization and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and perform statistical analyses and modeling with clear outputs for stakeholders.
• Design reports exploring large data sets to reveal patterns in chronic illness and health risk.
• Translate complex data into meaningful content using statistics and dashboards.
• Develop population risk stratification to inform care strategies.
• Present findings verbally, in writing, and with graphics to drive decisions.
• Create dashboards and KPI visuals to support organizational performance.
