Job summary

County of Yolo is seeking a Social Worker Supervisor I to oversee Public Guardian staff within the Health and Human Services Agency. The role includes workload and performance reviews, policy development, training, and data analysis, with some after-hours standby duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; preferred major in social work or related field.
• Two years of entry-level social work in a public sector agency or one year journey-level with supervisory experience.
• Valid California driver's license, Class C or higher, to perform job duties.
• Strong data tracking, policy interpretation and ability to work with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise case-carrying Public Guardian staff and support staff; monitor workloads and performance.
• Review and assign cases; create policy, train staff, and assess data outcomes for the program.
• Investigate conservatorship referrals and testify in court on conservatorship matters.
• Provide after-hours standby duty on a rotational basis and collaborate with partner agencies.
