Job summary

Golden Gate Regional Center in San Francisco County is seeking a Supervising Social Worker to lead a team of social workers, oversee client assessments and case planning, and ensure policy compliance. The role combines field and office supervision with remote work options in a hybrid setup.

You will hire and train staff, supervise performance evaluations, and maintain confidential records in line with HIPAA and the Lanterman Act, while representing the administration on committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Clinical License at time of hire and ability to maintain license preferred.
• Experience in supervision and case planning within social services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and manage resources efficiently.
• Participate in hiring, training and evaluation of staff.
• Represent administration on internal and community committees.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Provide coaching and monitor performance; conduct annual evaluations.
• Prepare monthly statistics on intake and referrals.
• Maintain client information confidentially under HIPAA and Lanterman Act.
• Supervise social workers in initial/ongoing assessments and case planning.
