The role requires calm under pressure, strong communication, and the ability to guide clients through county programs. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus, with a stipend available for bilingual duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher may substitute for the required experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, information and intervention to DHS clients and the public; greet and guide visitors.
• Conduct client intervention using CBMS screens to resolve program needs.
• Communicate with staff via phone and email to coordinate client interventions.
• Issue EBT cards and resolve related account problems as assigned.
• Offer housing, rent rebate information and other community referrals.
