Job summary

Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Augusta, Maine, is seeking a Management Analyst I to lead public-facing communications for OFI. The role involves translating complex program information into clear, accessible content, managing the Maine.gov site and social channels, and supporting program outreach with data-driven insights.

You will work with the OFI leadership, collaborate with multiple DHHS offices, and help ensure responsive, client-centered information delivery.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems, programs, and practices.
• Preferred experience includes Medicaid, SNAP, and/or TANF, or other government support programs.
• Knowledge of state/federal laws, regulations, and rules pertaining to OFI programs, and other government systems.
• Knowledge of core graphic design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage public-facing content for Maine.gov website and social media.
• Maintain OFI’s public-facing website content and update pages as programs/policies change, coordinating with the DHHS website vendor (InforME).
• Communicate about OFI activities and trends with staff, the public, and other agencies via Teams, webinars, email, website updates and social media.
• Gather and analyze data from website, newsletters, webinars, social media, client surveys, and other sources to identify trends and opportunities to improve communication and client experience.
• Track and create monthly and quarterly reports of OFI communications and client service; develop executive summaries for leadership.
• Collaborate with OFI leadership, DHHS programs, Business Technology division, Program Administrators, and vendors to enhance outreach.
