Job summary

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Augusta, Maine, is seeking a Management Analyst II. This full-time role provides contract and financial analysis, audit support, and procurement processing to the DHHS contracts and finance team.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems.
• Experience creating and analyzing financial reports.
• Experience development of contracts or financial processes, preferably procurement-related.
• Experience processing invoices and payments, reconciling and ensuring compliance.
• Experience gathering data and summarizing information for audits or projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract and financial analysis to Agency Procurement & Program Administrators.
• Manage and coordinate the collection of information for audit requests.
• Support administrative agreements, delivery orders, requisitions, and other procurement activities.
• Refresh and run financial reports supporting the manager of the unit.
• Process and research payments via accounting systems.
• Analyze and support procurement activities including procurement cards and travel arrangements.
• Oversee the work of an Accounting Assistant Technician.
