Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Executive Budget Specialist 1 to support the Governor’s budget process and work with Education and Economic Development divisions. Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Executive Budget Associate training period; or one year as a Budget Analyst 2 or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• You must have one or more years of experience using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Budget Analysis: Review agency budget materials and provide input and recommendations that supports financial decision making.
• Agency Coordination: Collaborate with assigned agencies in the Education and EconomicDevelopment Division to support agency budget operations throughout the year.
• Plan Development: Assist in preparing components of the Governor’s budget proposal.
• Implementation Support: Help carry out the enacted budget in alignment with state priorities.
• Team Contribution: Work with colleagues to maintain a balanced financial plan for the commonwealth.
