Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Budget Analyst 1 to support the Department of Human Services in Allegheny County. The role focuses on accurate funding of providers, processing accounting tasks, and maintaining provider information.

Telework may be available after 6 months, with a hybrid schedule and standard 8-4 work hours. You will gather financial data, perform journal entries, and assist with closeouts and reconciliations, contributing to agency goals and effective public funding

Qualifications

• One year of technical budget administration experience.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices; prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Close monthly/quarterly/annual books; perform reconciliations.
• Review allocations; verify contract entries.
• Collect fiscal and operational data from providers.
• Operate JD Edwards, OnBase, MPER, KIDS, CIPS for tasks.
• Support meetings and special projects.
