The State Preservation Board is seeking a Budget Analyst IV to support agency-wide budget development, monitoring, and reporting. The role reports to the Director of Finance and requires strong analytical skills to ensure funds are planned and allocated in line with appropriations and policies.

Responsibilities include preparing the Legislative Appropriations Request, analyzing expenditures and trends, and coordinating with the CFO and program managers to develop and monitor annual operating

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• Three years of advanced budget preparation, budget analysis, or management experience.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and legislative requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Develops, monitors, and analyzes the agency’s operating budget and provides recommendations to management regarding funding needs.
• Prepares LAR documentation and related budget schedules and narratives.
• Analyzes expenditures, trends, revenue, and funding requirements to identify budget risks.
• Coordinates with CFO and program managers to develop annual operating budgets and monitor spending.
