The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking an entry-level Program Eligibility Specialist I to review applications, verify information, and determine eligibility for state-administered programs. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills are essential to ensure timely, accurate determinations.

Under supervision, you will maintain case records, assist with renewals, and help applicants understand available resources while adhering to privacy laws and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in psychology, sociology, or related field.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy laws.
