You will review applications, make eligibility determinations, and correct data as needed. The role involves interviewing applicants and ensuring compliance with state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of public assistance policies, practices and procedures.
• Experience with eligibility systems and data review processes.
• Strong interview and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review eligibility recommendations and information from contract staff.
• Make eligibility determinations for SNAP, Medicaid and TANF in compliance with rules.
• Examine data matches to identify inconsistencies.
• Approve claims referred and calculated by the Contractor.
• Conduct full eligibility interviews for SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid applicants.
• Stay current on changes in rules and guidelines.
