Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist to support FEMA-related recovery efforts. You will collect, coordinate, and review applicant data to determine eligibility, coordinate site inspections, and assist with claims and determinations while maintaining clear communication with applicants.

This role requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain a FEMA badge, and travel up to 100%. Domestic travel and in-field experience are expected, with a focus on accuracy, organization,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel is required.
5 years of in-field experience (2 years of in-field experience with a bachelor’s degree).

Responsibilities

Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
Supports the communication process with the applicant about their status by scheduling regular meetings and following up with FEMA requests.
Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs with the applicant.
May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate and record damage.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a FEMA Badge, which includes a background investigation for a Public Trust position.
