Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist in the United States. You will collect, coordinate and review applicant data to determine eligibility and priorities, supporting communications with applicants and FEMA throughout the process.

You will participate in claims review, draft determinations, and may arrange site inspections to validate damage. A FEMA badge is required; 100% travel is indicated for the role.

Responsibilities

• Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments, including audits for completeness and preliminary damage assessments.
• Supports the communication process with applicants about their status by scheduling regular meetings and tracking FEMA requests.
• Participates in the claims process by reviewing damage details, scopes of work, and costs with applicants, and may evaluate eligibility.
• May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate damage for FEMA Public Assistance.
