Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist in the United States. You will collect, coordinate and review applicant data to determine eligibility and priorities for recovery projects, and support FEMA processes throughout the program delivery lifecycle.

You will coordinate site inspections, communicate status with applicants, validate damage details and assist with determination memos and close-out activities, while traveling domestically as required.

• Domestic travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
• Audits for completeness and reviews information gathered during the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA).
• Completes exploratory calls to gather information from applicants and understands each applicant’s projects and recovery priorities.
• Supports the communication process with the applicant about their status by scheduling regular meetings and following up on FEMA’s requests.
• Coordinates transmittal of documents through FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers and schedules site inspections.
• Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs with the applicant.
• Assists with development of the Determination Memo and communicating final determinations to applicants during close out.
• May coordinate basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate damage.
