Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist in the United States for FEMA Public Assistance programs. You will collect applicant data, determine eligibility, and coordinate document transmittals while liaising with FEMA teams to support recovery efforts.

Responsibilities include validating damage details, participating in meetings, and assisting with determinations and close-out communications.

Responsibilities

• Supports the communication process with the applicant about their status by scheduling regular meetings, tracking and following up with the applicants on FEMA’s requests.
• Coordinates transmittal of documents through FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers using a web-based tool, and schedules site inspections with the Site Inspector Task Force Leader.
• Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs with the applicant.
• Participates in regular FEMA meetings by providing updates on work status and may evaluate claims and make recommendations to FEMA about eligibility; assists with Determination Memo and close-out communications.
• May coordinate and complete site inspections to validate and record damage in the FEMAPublic Assistance grant delivery process.
