Job summary

City Of Atlanta Careers is seeking a capable coordinator to support the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, focusing on project coordination, procurement, and grantmaking. You will assist with artist calls, commissions, panels, and communication with grantees and partners.

The role supports Public Art and Arts Education programs, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with city procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and SharePoint.
• Basic knowledge of ATL Cloud/Oracle and City Procurement protocol.
• Ability to manage procurement and payables for projects and artist payments.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain program records and databases; produce regular reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide project coordination, administrative, procurement, and grantmaking support.
• Coordinate grantmaking, grantee communication, documentation, and reporting.
• Support Public Art and Arts Education programs and artist coordination.
• Assist with artist calls, commissions, jury and selection panels, and payments.
• Support Arts Education grants and programs; perform other assigned tasks.
