Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking an ID1 PTO Engineer to manage part type introductions, wafer resource planning, and yield performance across the product lifecycle. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful new product introductions, seamless production transitions, and optimized manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, PTO/NPI or related engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of DRAM and/or NAND technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage system setup, traveler creation, and pilot scheduling for new product introductions.
• Coordinate startup planning activities, including risk assessments and resource alignment.
• Support yield curve projections and performance tracking to enable business planning and forecasting.
• Oversee sampling plans, attribute management, SWR processing, and hold management activities.
• Partner with planning, operations, and engineering teams to manage wafer, reticle, and priority lot requirements.
