LionStone Care seeks a part-time Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapy services in Bellefontaine, OH. The role involves assisting the Physical Therapist, coordinating Telehealth visits, and maintaining documentation and billing for therapy services.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree and an active Ohio PTA license, with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with care staff and families.

Qualifications

• Current, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Ohio.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
• Knowledge of physical therapy procedures and standards of practice.
• Leadership and supervisory ability; ability to work harmoniously with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in planning, developing, organizing, evaluating and directing therapy activities.
• Facilitate Telehealth services to ensure evaluations, recertifications, progress notes, and discharges are completed timely.
• Communicate with related staff when planning therapy services and maintaining standards.
• Maintain documentation for residents receiving physical therapy and ensure accurate billing for services.
• Implement and follow home-program instructions and use of adaptive equipment for residents.
