Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house Skilled Nursing Facility team in Sevierville, TN. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide targeted interventions for residents, conduct screenings, and support evaluation processes in coordination with the therapy team.

The role requires an active PTA license, an associate degree in physical therapy, and commitment to ongoing education to maintain licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active PTA license in state(s) of practice and maintain licensure.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in identifying goals and treatment plans.
• Deliver individual and group treatment focusing on strength, mobility, gait, balance, and ROM.
