Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Worcester, MA to support physical therapy services under supervision. You will assist with assessment data collection, direct treatment, and care coordination for a general rehab caseload.

Newly licensed therapists are welcome. The facility emphasizes continuous learning, clinical program development, and collaboration with caregivers and residents to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in PTA from an accredited program
• CEUs per state licensure requirements
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
• Newly licensed therapists welcome

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
