Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic team in Worcester. The PTA will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and contribute to patient care in a general rehab setting.

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and weekly pay up to $40 per hour. Newly licensed therapists are welcome, with licensure required by the state and CEU requirements fulfilled as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• CEUs per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.
• Newly licensed therapists welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
