Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Worcester, MA. The PTA will support a Physical Therapist, deliver direct patient care, and help meet a variety of rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include data collection, treatment delivery, program development, and accurate documentation within our clinical system. Strong communication, organization, and adaptability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in PTA from an accredited program.
• Current licensure where required.
• CEU's per state licensure requirements.
• Newly licensed therapists welcome.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field.
