Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Worcester, MA. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will assist in delivering physical therapy services to a general rehab caseload.

This full-time position offers weekly pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for career advancement. Applicants should have an Associate's Degree in PTA, state licensure, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in PTA from accredited program.
• CEUs per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency.
• Newly licensed therapists welcome.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provision and data collection, direct treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies with supervisor; document activities on the clinical system.
• Demonstrate ongoing learning to stay current in the field.
