Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Worcester. The PTA will assist in direct patient care under a Physical Therapist and contribute to a general rehab caseload.

We offer a $5k sign-on bonus, weekly pay up to $40 per hour, and opportunities for professional development in a collaborative setting with diverse patients and resident care teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• CEUs per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.
• Newly licensed therapists welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision, data collection, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under supervision.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies with supervisor and document timely in the system.
• Demonstrate ability for continuous learning to stay current in the field.
