Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide supervised PT-based treatments across outpatient and other clinical settings. The role supports plan implementation and patient goals in coordination with the rehabilitation team.

The PTA will educate patients, document progress, and ensure safety, privacy, and quality care while collaborating with nurses and physicians. Missouri-based facility with diverse care environments.

Formación

• Must have an associate degree in PTA from an accredited program.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification preferred or required per facility.
• Experience preferred in outpatient orthopedics, SNF, rehab, or home health.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide PTA treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and endurance.
• Instruct patients in exercises, gait training, transfers, and devices.
• Document treatment sessions, progress, goals, and observations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on plans and home programs.
• Maintain patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and staff.
• Participate in QA activities, meetings, and staff development.
• May provide services in multiple settings as needed.
