Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Center, MO is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function through individualized treatment plans.

The position emphasizes hands-on, patient-centered care with a focus on outcomes and quality of life, with a supportive clinical team and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the PT.
• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities.
• Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records.
• Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment.
• Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions.
