PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Physical Therapist in delivering resident care and treatment plans. You will work under supervision to ensure quality, compliant care and smooth therapy operations.

The role emphasizes documentation, patient education, safety, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, nursing staff, residents, and families. A PTA degree and licensed status in the state are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and understand technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers, coworkers and families.
• Math skills for fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and/or Rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Assist in ordering durable medical equipment to facilitate mobility.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' and company information.
• Contribute to quality assurance and rehabilitation program development.
