Job summary

Flagstar Rehab seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join its Skilled Nursing Facility team in NYC and surrounding areas. You will work under the PT Supervisor, following the established Plan of Care to deliver high-quality therapy and education that improves patient function and cognition.

We offer direct employment with our agency or an independent contractor path, and support with setting up a corporation if needed.

Qualifications

• Current NYS PTA License and Registration.
• EMR software competence required.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/Liability insurance optional where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, with conditions including TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, cancer, orthopedic surgery.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Flagstar Rehab offers the opportunity for Direct Employment with our agency OR to Be Your Own Boss as an Independent Contractor.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
