Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Easton, KS is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing facility team. This full-time role supports licensed Therapists and focuses on hands-on, patient-centered care to improve mobility and function.

The PTA will deliver individualized treatment plans, lead patients through exercises, educate on safe techniques, and document progress while collaborating with the care team in a supportive, patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function
• Support and deliver individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on, patient-centered care
• Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the PT
• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities
• Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records
• Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment
• Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions
