Job summary

INNOVATE REHAB AND WELLNESS in Brunswick, MO is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility and gain independence in daily activities.

The position emphasizes one-on-one therapy, hands-on patient care, and collaborative planning with a supportive team. Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Valid state PTA license is required.
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities.
• Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records.
• Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment.
