Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions in Monroe, LA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient rehabilitation in long-term care settings. You will work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure to practice as a PTA.
• One year of experience in rehabilitation or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist for individual or group therapy.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide gait training, transfer training, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniques.
• Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and timely per guidelines.
• Utilize electronic documentation systems effectively.
