Job summary
Qualifications
- Requires active PTA license in state of practice.
- Continuing education and professional development expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under supervision.
- Conduct resident screenings at intervals to determine intervention needs.
- Assist in evaluations and treatment planning with the Physical Therapist.
- Perform group and individual treatment focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and gait.
- Assist in selecting techniques/media and adapt as needed.
- Monitor responses and modify plans with guidance from PT.
- Contribute to scheduling and education for residents and families.
- Document in NetHealthEMR per CMS requirements.
