Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role operates in an interdisciplinary setting, implementing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress to support recovery.

Qualifications include a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program and current state PTA licensure, with CPR certification preferred. Experience ranges from 0–1 year.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as PTA in current state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 0-1 year of experience in PTA role.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
