Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a Physical Therapist, delivering therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and document progress for review by the supervising therapist.

This entry-level role requires an Associate Degree, with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and support continued patient progress at home; travel is minimal as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; entry-level accepted.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observes patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observes and maintains up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
