Job summary

Alternate Solutions Home Health - Fairfax is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled services in patients’ homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will educate families, document progress, and ensure safety while delivering planned care designed to restore function and relieve pain.

The role requires at least one year of PTA experience in acute settings, with home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold active PTA license in state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience in an acute setting is required.
• Home health experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled PTA services in patients' homes under the Physical Therapist plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient progress and reactions.
• Performs PT modalities prescribed and assists in goal attainment.
• Educates patients and families on therapy techniques and safety.
• Documents all aspects of treatment and maintains compliance with regulations.
