Job summary

Alternate Solutions Home Health - Fairfax is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver comprehensive skilled services in patients' homes under a Physical Therapist's supervision.

You'll educate families, document care, and participate in case conferences while maintaining Medicare guidelines. A minimum of one year in acute care or home health is preferred, with a valid driver's license and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience in an acute setting; home care preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Knowledgeable on therapy best practices and Medicare guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA services in patient homes per plan of care.
• Observe, record, and report patient progress and reactions.
• Perform PTA procedures to relieve pain and restore function.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safety.
• Document all care and communicate with schedulers and team.
