Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the employed state.
• Minimum of one year PTA experience in an acute setting is required.
• Home care experience is preferred.
• Strong communication with patients, families, physicians and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA services in patients' homes under the Physical Therapist plan of care.
• Observation and documentation of patient progress and reactions.
• Administer PT modalities as prescribed and assist in goal attainment.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, and device use.
