Alternate Solutions Home Health in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled services in patients' homes under a Physical Therapist's direction. The role emphasizes high-quality care, accurate documentation, and adherence to state practice guidelines.

Qualificações

• PTA with current license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one year of PTA experience in an acute setting.
• Home care experience is preferred.
• Strong communication with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Detail-oriented with disciplined work ethic and timely documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled PTA services in patients' homes per PT plan of care.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress and reactions.
• Perform PT procedures to relieve pain and restore function.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safety.
• Complete clinical documentation following Medicare and agency guidelines.
• Coordinate with scheduling and participate in case conferences.
