Job summary

PruittHealth Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide services in patients' homes under a supervising physical therapist. New pay-per-point model offers top industry pay with incentives based on visit effort and time outside of visits.

Ideal candidates have PTA licensure, ≥2 years of therapy experience, and a driver’s license. Prior Home Health experience is preferred. Equal opportunity employer; caring team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unrestricted professional license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a PTA entry level education in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of the plan of care within goals defined by the physician, patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and attending physician to manage the patient care plan.
• Assist the physical therapist in assessing the patient’s physical disability and level of function.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation at the point of care according to industry standards.
• Maintain current license, certification, and clinical records to meet regulations.
• Participate in surveys and reports as required.
• Prioritize time, manage workloads, and meet deadlines.
