Job summary

Caretenders Home Health is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver therapy in patients' homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients to enhance well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with exercises, recording patient progress, and coordinating with the health care team. Weekend availability is required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in state.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance or reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home PT practice and work only under supervising PT guidance.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, transfers and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
