Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. You will implement plans, document progress, and educate patients and families on exercises and safety.

Collaboration with the team ensures comprehensive patient care. Must hold PTA licensure and CPR is preferred; benefits include weekly pay and health coverage from day one, plus a 401(k) match and student loan repayment

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current PTA license or certification.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Document patient responses and progress and report findings to the supervising PT.
• Maintain current patient documentation and progress notes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
