Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Pahokee, FL. The PRN position offers compassionate patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include screening residents, assisting in evaluations, helping establish treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy focusing on strength, mobility, balance, and gait. Active PTA license required and ongoing CE participation expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy (required).
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention.
• Assist in evaluation steps under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in planning treatment goals and plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Deliver individual and group treatment covering strength, mobility, balance, gait and ROM.
