Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for long-term care and rehabilitation in Norman, OK. The PTA will provide rehabilitative services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and follow evidence-based practices.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts; times are flexible and coordinated with the Director of Rehabilitation. Active PTA license required; 1+ year experience preferred; new grads with Level II welcome.

Qualifications

• 1+ years PTA experience required.
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• New graduates with Level II experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provide skilled treatment under supervision, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist for treatment adjustments.
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system in accordance with company policies.
• Participate in patient care conferences and utilization review meetings.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients and their families regarding physical disorders.
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to APTA and state regulations, maintaining current licensure.
