Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Norman, OK is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and help patients regain function to enjoy sports, work and daily life.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program, has passed the CAPTE national exam, holds a current PTA license (or in process) and maintains CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed a national PTA exam certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PT services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.
• Support center operations and client relations.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: 1106 W Main St. Norman, OK 73069

Schedule: Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-6pm

Compensation: $28hr-$33hr depending on experience

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
